A (really) short film that was screened on 2015 Ministry of National Defense's 29s Film Festival.

 

Filmed within very few opportunities I was given to film in the army, The Squid satirizes the importance Korean soceity places in beauty and underscores the camaraderie that every korean men as soldiers aquire through shared experiences. 

 

The term "squid" here is a popular Korean expression that refers to sorry looking people.
