The Smart Dillo campaign was originally created by the Dean of Students’ office and the Northwestern Marketing team, to use humor to communicate an important safety message to students around Dillo Day, the annual music festival at Northwestern University. 

 

The campaign features plastic Armadillo toys as models for scenarios and was distributed through web, TV, and social media.
